Interest Rates, Inflation and the 2022 Outlook

The hope by the Fed is that the increase in interest rates will choke off some of this inflation. I do not think the Fed is prepared to go as hard as they need to; I think they're underestimating how long inflation is going to be around. Inflation is going to with us and it along with a bunch of other stuff is going to bite Biden in the ass. He might want to have a long conversation with former-President Jimmy Carter.

“The Sum of Us” A Final Review

The premise or recurring theme or thesis behind Heather McGhee’s book, “The Sum of Us: How Racism Costs Everyone And How We Can Prosper Together” is that we, the United States, adopted this ‘zero-sum’ paradigm at its inception, particularly around race, and how it is been to the detriment of ‘all of us.’ What she does throughout the book, from beginning to the last chapter, is give example after example of how some White people and their politics are driven off this theme if they win, we lose, irrespective of the damage to the country.

Opportunities Out of Darkness

The down-market will create opportunities for entrepreneurs. Forward-thinking entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to buy a struggling business or fill a market void by starting a new business.

Shelter In Place, The Passover

Instead of a poem today, I’m going to post an excerpt directly from the 12th Chapter of Exodus from the New International Version of the bible. Like a Sunday preacher, I’d encourage you to read the entire Book of Exodus and particularly Chapters 11 and 13.

The Fugitive Deserves Another Look!

I'm not saying that Devlin McGregor is Novartis, the makers of hydroxychloroquine, the drug approved for lupus, malaria, and rheumatoid arthritis, necessarily. I mean, they're the ones that paid Michael Cohen over $1 million for access to Trump.
